Cyberbullying: A Growing Problem

This article is about how about 10% of kids grades 7-9 who use the Internet get cyberbullied. Cyberbullying is worse than regular conventional bullying because you are continuously being bullied. For example, regular bullying you can go home and your left alone on weekends. It also states that it is hard to get information off of the Internet. Also that information spreads so once you put it on and try to take it off a whole bunch of people have seen it already. Lastly it clearly states that cyberbullying is worse because the person can pretend to be someone they are not.

Protecting Kids from cyberbullying

This article says that 1 in 3 kids say they were cyberbullied. Cyberbullying can damage you emotionally and ruin yourself esteem. Cyberbullying is done mostly to middle school kids which is ages 9-14 most likely. This article states that when you are cyberbullied there are things you can do. This article also has some facts about cyberbullying like 40% of kids say their cyberbullying took place on instant messenger services. 30% said it happened on social networking sites, and 29% said they were bullied while playing an online game.
